This place is officially the oldest hostel in Kota Kinbalu and probably has the best reputation too. They look after their guests with plenty of free treats like breakfast, linen, drinks and internet. Their friendly staff will also help you to arrange local tours to visit the orangutans and climb Mount Kinabalu. Ideally located with loads of stuff right on your doorstep, this is an ideal place to base yourself in Borneo.
