Things to think about

In Australia if you use your mobile as your point of contact for work you'll need a local phone number

4. Setting up a travel journal where you write about what you’re up to and show your photos

Mobile phone/textIf you are taking your own mobile, ensure you contact your provider to get international roaming turned on. If you are a contract user, make sure you sort out some way of getting your monthly bills paid.
