Costa Rica is a friendly, laidback country in Central America. Located between Panama and Nicaragua, its Western edge is just miles and miles of Pacific coastline.

Rich in wildlife, with a relaxed Caribbean atmosphere and many spectacular waterfalls and lush, green cloud forests, it's a unique and very different destination for any traveller or gap year volunteer.
